AI Creation?

For those who don't already know. I love movies and I see a lot of spiritual things in movies. Maybe not even intentionally. God's Spirit just reveals things to me through movies sometimes. Granted, not all movies are good. I'm certainly not saying that. Use discretion and discernment.
Well, I watched one last night that got those wheels a turnin' in my head. It's called "I Am Mother." (SPOILER ALERT: I will ruin this movie for you if you haven't already watched it. Readers beware.)
You've been warned.
Okay, the premise is the extinction of mankind, post-apocalyptic. Someone created an underground bunker where more humans could re-populate. The thing is that a droid was the one creating and raising the baby. There were over 63,000 embryos ready to grow into babies, but the droid, Mother, took its time raising one, essentially to be perfect. Mother told the child, Daughter, that humans had been eradicated by a virus, and so she was never allowed to go outside.
One day a loud banging comes from outside and Daughter opens the door to find another human. Surprise! The human is wounded and extremely leery of droids. Even says that she was attacked by one.
As time progresses, Daughter learns a myriad of things and discovers that not only was Mother lying, but she was murdering the embryos that became children if they didn't measure up to the standard of perfection or meet their needs.
In the end, Daughter learned that the mass extinction of mankind was caused by AI and the use of droids, because, get this, because AI wanted to restart creation. They said that humans were evil.
Where have we seen that before? Oh hmm, in Genesis 6:5 it says, "The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time."
That is exactly what this AI droid was saying.
So essentially, the droid...rather the AI system that had taken over all the droids thought it could be God.
There's something that I don't quite understand. Did the AI go around collecting human sperm and ovum and then artificially put them together to get the resulting 63,000 embryos? They certainly weren't creating babies from scratch, because they do not have the ability to create from singular cells. AI is not God. You cannot create something from nothing.
With this thought, I'm left to believe that the embryos were the result of former humans. This would mean that they still had the defective people. No amount of drilling knowledge, ethics and morality into their heads will create the perfect human.
We have all fallen short. We all will turn from God when left to our own devices. We are tainted. Sin has corrupted us.
If AI could program humans to be perfect, better even, then there would be no need for Jesus. Humans could be left alone and AI could eventually annihilate us to be restarted for perfection. Sounds good! Let's get started.
But it's no good. One "perfectly" crafted human will create more humans and those humans will eventually be corrupted.
It's like "The Lord of the Rings" books. The rings of power were evil and corrupted every single person they came into contact. Everyone thought they could control the power and be the best ruler, but it was always in vain. Even the simplest of creatures, the hobbit, could not control himself around the ring.
We cannot control ourselves around sin. Only by the power of Christ in us and can avoid temptation and defeat sin.
That is why Jesus died, to do what we could never do.
"...because Jesus lives forever, he has a permanent priesthood. Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them. Such a high priest truly meets our need—one who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners, exalted above the heavens." Hebrews 7:24-26
So, no, not even AI creating humans would rescue us from our demise. Try as they might.
